Try before you Apply
Tresham are hosting a variety of taster sessions for people who’ve shown an interest in studying at college next year on one of the many full time courses.
The taster sessions allow individuals to ‘try before they apply’ allowing them to see what would be involved in a course at Tresham and if it would be right for them. They will also be able to take a tour of the campus where their taster session is being held whilst also meeting potential new course mates.
Yesterday, Monday 30th March a Hospitality and Catering Taster Session took place at our Manor House Restaurant in Corby. The group spent the morning in our catering kitchen baking and cooking as well as getting to know one another. They also took part in a few fun food related competitions with one of them winning a “meal for two” voucher.

- Insight into specific trades; bricklaying, painting and decorating, plastering, carpentry, joinery, plumbing, engineering and welding
Early Years, Health and Social Care Taster Session
Wednesday 1st April at Kettering Campus
- Learning about first aid
- Bathing babies
- Discovering gloop play
- Understanding communication challenges
Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Taster Session

- Beauty techniques
