Tresham Announced as First Peter Jones Enterprise Academy in Northamptonshire
Tresham has been announced as the first FE College in Northamptonshire to become a Peter Jones Enterprise Academy Provider, enabling young entrepreneurs in the area to realise their potential in the business world, from September 2012.
Tresham will be running the BTEC Level 3 in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at its Kettering campus to provide the opportunity for young people to study a combination of practical learning and classroom based study. The course is business-led through partnerships with a range of companies and entrepreneurs providing leadership and hands-on business experience.
As part of the one year course local and national business representatives will visit students on a regular basis to provide an experts knowledge in master classes, workshops, challenges and as members of the famous Dragon’s Den style pitching panels.
The Enterprise Academy benefits from the backing and full support of the government who share the ambition of unlocking the talent of young people across the UK, giving them the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the modern business world.
