What you need to know

We understand that choosing where to study after GCSEs is an enormous decision.

Your child or ward may be very unsure about their options and/or the best way for them to achieve their career goals. Please read our parent information guide for further details about what Tresham can offer your child or ward.

To ensure that your child can make the right decision for them it is important to gather as much information about all of the different options available. At Tresham we want to help you with this process, whether you and child eventually choose to come to Tresham or stay on at school in sixth form study.

Within our parent pages you can find out:

  • Our top reasons why you should consider Tresham for your son, daughter or ward
  • The main differences between studying at college and sixth form
  • An explanation of the different courses that we offer
  • Answers to FAQs about Tresham and further education colleges
  • What happens after your child or ward submits their application to study at Tresham

Is your child or ward already attending college?

Although we actively encourage our learners to take responsibility for their own development and performance we recognise the continued importance of support parents and guardians throughout our students’ time at college. Within this section you will find the following information:

  • Term times
  • Report and feedback schedules
  • Contact details if you have a query

If you have any other questions then please do not hesitate to contact us on 0345 658 89 90.
