Rugby Academy Training Session
On Thursday 28th May Tresham Rugby Academy in partnership with Northampton Saints held a training session at the Kettering campus from 10am till 12noon. The training session was attended by around 20 young people who have a keen interest in Rugby but also want to study at the same time.
Our Rugby Academy is led by Elite Player Development Group Manager, Ross Stewart and Northampton Saints coaches to provide young players with the professional training they require to pursue a career as a rugby player. Each player will also study for either a BTEC in Sport covering areas such as nutrition and sports psychology or relevant A Levels.
The training allowed those to find out more about the courses on offer at Tresham, meet the Academy staff and train with potential team mates. They were able to view our excellent facilities and gain an understanding to the tailor made timetabling which will ensure time for academic studies as well as training. Those involved in the programme will also compete within the national college leagues.Back to news
