Part Time Course Guide out now!
Tresham’s new part time course guide is out now and is full of professional courses. Studying part time enables people to get qualified around other commitments such as work or family, preparing them for their next step in education or career.
There are a variety of ways to study part time from one day courses to a full year of evening classes.
A number of new flexible ‘blended learning’ courses will be available from September 2016 in accountancy, health professions, business management and human resources. The new courses allow students to combine learning online through video lectures, animations and exercises on a bespoke virtual learning environment with attending classes at college to learn from experienced lecturers who will provide guidance on progress and assessments.
Distance learning is also offered in a range of health and social care courses lasting only 16 weeks and free of charge if the course is completed.
Students aged 19 or over may be entitled to the Advanced Learning Loan to help with tuition costs. This loan is non-means tested and offered regardless of current employment status. The loan covers the cost of the course and is not paid back until an individual is earning over £21,000 per year.
People can enrol by phone by calling 01536 413123 and pay by credit or debit card or people can pop into their nearest campus receptions between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Fridays.
