Paint Donated by Brewers Protective Coatings

Brewers PaintTresham’s Painting and Decorating students were pleased to receive a donation from Brewers Protective Coatings of more than 300 litres of water based paints earlier this month.

This is the first time Brewers have made such a donation, however, they plan to work with the college to donate more in the future to support the college and its students working within the Painting and Decorating industry. The paint donated consisted of tins that had been mismatched or the wrong colours that had been returned by customers.

Craig Love, Deputy Head of School for Construction and Engineering said:

“We’re very grateful that Brewers have made this donation as it will help our students have more colours to use whilst they are training and we have more stock for them to improve their practical skills. This has saved us nearly £600 which we will now use to buy more equipment which is great news.”
