Also rewarded on the night were small employer and medium employers of the year, Hewitt Decorators and Maziak Compressor Services Ltd, which were praised for their commitment to training and development.

Speaking at the event, Tracy Cosgrave said: This event celebrates the fantastic achievements made by our apprentices. We would like to thank the representative companies for their continued commitment to increase training opportunities for young people and adults in the area and would also like to offer congratulations to all apprentices who have achieved their qualification.

“In the past two years we have had the pleasure of seeing many excellent ambassadors for the college and apprentices, taking their next step into a career that some had thought impossible.

“All of the winners should be very proud of what they have accomplished and I wish them, together with all of the apprentices training with Evolve and Tresham, all the best for their future careers.”
