To raise awareness of National No Smoking Day 2012 (Wednesday 14th March 2012) Tresham College of Further and Higher Education’s BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care students have been holding a variety of activities at the college’s Kettering campus to highlight the effects of smoking.
Students have held an information and advice stand to highlight the help that is available to smokers wishing to quit and to show the effects that smoking has on the body. Beauty Therapy students were also highlighting the effects of smoking on the face through using make-up to make students aged 16 to 18 look twenty years older, something that often happens to smokers.
