For those considering a career in the ever-changing industry of Travel and Tourism, Tresham University Centre is now offering the HNC/D in Travel and Tourism Management. The course focuses on theoretical knowledge of the industry whilst also developing practical skills; utilising Tresham’s very own plane fuselage as a unique training environment.

Another new course being introduced in September to meet the demands of a growing industry in Northamptonshire is the HNC/D in Construction Engineering. The course covers key areas including Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Management, Civil Engineering and Building Services Engineering. The course is ideal for those who may have been working within the industry after leaving school and now wish to improve their potential for promotion into management.
The new Foundation Degree in Disability Studies will begin in September for those who want to develop their knowledge in regards to the demands on industry. This is ideal for those wishing to progress in their careers including Teaching Assistants in special schools.

All courses at Tresham’s University Centre are offered at a competitive rate compared to other universities as well as the opportunity to apply for a generous bursary scheme for full time courses, a high level of support from tutors and excellent links with local employers.

Andrea Finkel Gates, Director of Strategic Curriculum Operations at Tresham said:

We have worked alongside our partners in businesses across Northamptonshire to ensure that we are offering the skills training they want and need to grow their businesses.  Our brand new courses allow students and employers additional choice and flexibility which is key to growing our skills levels in the county.”
