Music Students to Perform “Party at the Yards!”

music promoParty at the Yards! Free Entry! Thursday May 26th, 7:30pm

Party at The Yards! Is a charity event organised by our music students to raise funds for Kettering General Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). Come along to The Yards Bar and Kitchen in Kettering on the 26th May at 7:30pm and watch the students perform chart hits from the recent years as they debut everything they have learned over their two years of further education in aid of a worthy cause.  Entry is free; however donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. All money raised from the concert will go directly to SCBU, going towards the facilities and new equipment for the ward such as incubators and ventilators, training of new staff to keep the ward up and running and to further develop the parent support group.

The special care baby unit (SCBU) is a specialist ward that works tirelessly to help babies that require medical help after birth. Babies who require special care on SCBU include premature babies who need help with feeding and keeping warm; babies who have been born with a life threatening condition affecting their breathing, heart and circulation; babies born with extreme jaundice; and babies who are waiting for, or recovering from, surgery.  The unit also provides a support group for parents of infants who are currently going through this difficult time.

Come and enjoy the two hours of music the students will be providing, and support your local SCBU!
