Learners Test Football Skills Blindfolded

Blindfolded football

More than 60 learners studying Sport at Tresham took part in sessions organised by fellow classmates and played football blindfolded to gain an insight into how they can work with individuals who are blind or partially sighted to ensure they arrange sports activities accessible for everyone.

Learners from the BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport at Tresham’s Kettering campus are all completing their Leadership in Sport module and a small number decided to work together to hold a blindfolded football session to show how people of all abilities can take part in sports.

Other students have arranged sessions such as rugby, badminton and rounder’s as well as one learner who held a session focussed on Gymnastics.
