Exciting Apprenticeship Opportunities with Fairline

Fairline, a global player in the luxury boating market, are looking for 22 apprentices to join their team of craftsmen based at their Oundle headquarters.


Established in 1963 by Oundle-based Jack Newington, Fairline has a long and illustrious history of supplying luxury vessels to customers worldwide. They are now looking to recruit apprentices to learn the full range of skills that go into building these wonderful boats.

What would I be doing?

You would be working alongside the experienced team at Fairline, learning all aspects of the skills and crafts required to build and fit out luxury boats. Alongside the practical work experience programme you will also be studying a Level 3 qualification through day release at our Corby campus.

Who can apply?

Fairline are looking for candidates who are:

  • able to communicate ideas and plans clearly
  • able to work well with a variety of people
  • a creative thinker
  • confident at making accurate, independent judgements
  • interested in solving problems

Suitable candidates will have achieved a Grade A to C in Maths, English and a Science although equivalent qualifications will also be considered. An interest in all aspects of carpentry, engineering and electrical installations would also be an advantage although full training will be provided.
