Access to Higher Education courses are ideal if you are aged 19 or above and are looking to study at degree level but don’t have the right qualifications or experience.
Many of our students have not been in education for some time and this course helps you to develop your study skills and build on your confidence levels, giving you the knowledge and abilities to succeed in a degree level programme.
Access courses are recognised as entry qualifications by Universities across the UK. You can also progress onto one of the HNC/HND or Foundation Degree programmes we offer at our college.
If you are aged 19 or over you could fund your course fees with an Advanced Learning Loan. These are not means tested and, if you continue onto complete a degree level programme, you will not have to repay the loan.
The Pre-Access course is ideal if you would like to enter the Access to Higher Education course but haven’t got the necessary GCSE grades and haven’t been in education for some time.
