Gaining the AAT Level 2 qualification in Bookkeeping can help you find work in a range of organisations. This course is ideal if you work in accounts and would like a formal qualification in the field, or for those wishing to acquire new skills to help with a change in career. This course is also suitable for school leavers looking for an introduction to accounting and finance. You will study units in Processing Bookkeeping Transactions, Control Accounts, Journals and the Banking System.
This course will prepare you for further study on the AAT Level 3, AAT Level 4, ACCA, CIMA, ACA courses.
Two online exams, one for each unit.
You will be required to pay an AAT membership fee.
Pay by instalments
The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 6 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
If you are aged 19 or over, in receipt of JSA Benefit, ERAG, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Income Support, low income Universal Credit (for the benefits previously listed - not Personal Independence Payments) and are unemployed, your course could be free of charge if it could help you to find work.
