Supporting Teaching and Learning NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate

Why study this course?

You will develop an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in a school or college environment.

The course covers a wide range of areas including: children and young peoples development, supporting children and young peoples positive bevaviours and communication and professional relationships.

What will I study?

On this course you will study:
- Understanding schools & colleges as organisations.
- Understand childrens and young people development.
- Safeguarding children and young people.
- Equlity and Diversity and inclusion in a learning environment for children and young people.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

Once you have completed this course you can progress onto the Supporting Teaching and Learning CACHE Level 3 Certificate or can be employed as a teaching assistant and/or support worker.

How will I be assessed?

your work will be assessed through a range of written assignments, professional discussions, case studies and questions.

Are there any additional costs?

Pay by instalments
The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 7 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.

Are there any discounted fees available?

If you are aged 19-23 at the start of your course and do not already have a full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification then you may not have to pay any fees. Please see the fees and funding section more details.
