Principles of Business Administration NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning/Online Course)

Why study this course?

This distance learning course will enable you to gain additional skills and a qualification without disrupting your day-to-day life. You will have access to specialist support from dedicated tutors throughout the programme.

What will I study?

This qualification aims to provide you with the underpinning knowledge that is required by employees to work in a range of different environments in a business administration role. You will develop essential knowledge of how to carry out administrative tasks such as how to manage information and supporting events. You will also learn how to apply your knowledge in a variety of industries and job roles.
The units you will study are:
1. Principles of providing administrative services
2. Principles of business document production and information management
3. Understand communication in a business environment
4. Understand employer organisations
5. Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
6. Understand how to carry out business administration tasks
7. Understand how to store, retrieve and archive information

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

Course progression:
Once it has been confirmed that you have fully completed the course, there are several next steps that you can take. You can go on to study another level two distance learning course. Or you could move on to one of our Level 3 Distance Learning courses. Alternatively, you could enrol on to our Access to Higher Education course (subject to interview) or the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification (subject to entry requirements).

By completing any of the above courses, you will gain the skills and knowledge that employers find desirable. It is also a great opportunity for continuous professional development.

How will I be assessed?

Learners will be provided with a resource pack with assessment booklets to complete. There is also an option to study this course online via our bespoke e-learning portal.

Is there anything else I need to know when considering this course?

Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be charged if learners do not complete the course within the allocated 16 weeks.
