Principles of Team Leading NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning/Online Course)

Why study this course?

The distance learning course will enable you to gain additional skills and a qualification without disrupting your day to day life. You will have access to specialist support from dedicated tutors throughout the programme.

What will I study?

This qualification aims to provide you with the knowledge and understanding required to successfully lead a team. You will develop your knowledge of the principles of team leading and your understanding of business. You will learn the skills required to support communication with a range of stakeholders at different levels.
The units you will study are:
1. Principles of Team Leading
2. Understand Business
3. Understand how to communicate work-related information
4. Understand customers
5. Understand how to deliver customer service and resolve problems
6. Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
7. Understand health and safety procedures in the workplace
8. Introduction to mentoring

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

Course progression:
Once it has been confirmed that you have fully completed the course, there are several next steps that you can take. You can go on to study another level two distance learning course. Or you could move on to one of our Level 3 Distance Learning courses. Alternatively, you could enrol on to our Access to Higher Education course (subject to interview) or the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification (subject to entry requirements).
Career progression:
By completing any of the above courses, you will gain the skills and knowledge that employers find desirable within the Health and Social Care Sector. It is also a great opportunity for continuous professional development.

How will I be assessed?

Learners will be provided with a resource pack with assessment booklets to complete. There is also an option to study this course online via our bespoke e-learning portal.

Is there anything else I need to know when considering this course?

Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be charged if learners do not complete the course within the allocated 16 weeks.
