IOSH Managing Safely

Why study this course?

This course is designed for any manager who is required to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both their organisation's policy and best practice in health and safety. Successful completion will lead to the award of the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.

What will I study?

The course comprises eight core modules:

- Introducing managing safely
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding your responsibilities
- Identifying hazards
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Measuring performance
- Protecting our environment

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by completion of a workplace project and an hour long test paper.

Are there any additional costs?

Pay by instalments
The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 7 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
