What will I study?

A large part of this course is experiential learning. The course builds on listening and responding skills learned on the introductory course. There are additional units, including a module on grief and bereavement.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

Level 3 CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Studies (subject to interview)

How will I be assessed?

On-going assessment of learning reviews, assignments, self-review, presentations, portfolios and external exams.

Are there any discounted fees available?

If you are aged 19 or over, in receipt of JSA Benefit, ERAG, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Income Support, Universal Credit (not Personal Independence Payments) and are unemployed, your course could be free of charge if it could help you to find work.

If you are taking a course costing more than £100 we can arrange for you to pay your fees in up to 7 monthly instalments, depending on the length of your course. An admin fee of £20 is charged for this service. Full terms and conditions will be supplied when you enrol.
