This is a part time course aim primarily at adult learners to be used as a starting point to gain plumbing qualification for entry into the industry or gaining formal qualifications for those already working in the plumbing industry. The units gained as part of this qualification are transferrable* into a Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating (*Please Note: crediting of units is subject to agreement of awarding body at time of transference)
This course consists of practical and theory exercise to give you the relevant skills and knowledge common to all plumbing practices covering plumbing, refrigeration, heating and ventilation, health and safety and environmental protections measures.

Textbook (s) are required as an essential part of the programme of study (approx. £25 per year)
If you are aged 19 or over, in receipt of JSA Benefit, ERAG, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Income Support, Universal Credit (not Personal Independence Payments) and are unemployed, your course could be free of charge if it could help you to find work.
If you are aged 19-23 at the start of your course and do not already have a full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification then you may not have to pay any fees. Please see the fees and funding section more details.
If you are taking a course costing more than £100 we can arrange for you to pay your fees in up to 7 monthly instalments, depending on the length of your course. An admin fee of £20 is charged for this service. Full terms and conditions will be supplied when you enrol.
