This course will introduce you to the world of work within health and social care settings.
You will study a range of core, mandatory and optional units. This will cover units including:
• Human lifespan development
• Health and social care values
• Effective communication
• Equality and diversity
• Nutrition in health
• Human growth & development
• Working in health & social care
• Common care disorders
You will be required to undertake one day per week in a practical placement where you will take on the role of an employee in a variety of settings.

Level 3 study programme in Health and Social Care or Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator). Alternatively you could progress onto an Apprenticeship programme.
Written assignments throughout the programme and a work experience based assignment. There are also two external exams.
You will need to complete a DBS check at your own cost, approx. £44. You will also be expected to purchase text books costing approx. £20 and a T-shirt for placement (approx £10)
Entry is subject to a successful interview. You must have a clean DBS check.
