You will develop complex painting and decorating knowledge and skills, in addition to preparing you for first line supervisory roles within the construction industry. The qualification will cover: principles of organising; planning and pricing construction work; health safety and welfare in construction; erecting and dismantling access equipment and working platforms; applying hangings to walls and ceilings; producing specialist finishes for painted decorative work; producing specialist architectural finishes for decorative work; applying water-borne paint systems using airless equipment and applying water-borne paint systems using High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) spray equipment.
This Level 3 qualification can help you find employment, or an apprenticeship in painting and decorating and/or first line supervisory roles.

• You will also be required to pay approx. £40 to take a CSCS test. This will allow you to complete the mandatory 30 hours work experience required as part of this study programme
