Acting (Level 3)


Why study this course?

On this course you will develop your acting skills in order to become a versatile and employable performer. You will study stage acting techniques in depth and, in the second year, you will explore acting for film, TV and radio. You will take part in numerous performances during the two years of study.

What will I study?

You will work alongside industry professionals to enhance your skills in voice, physicality, character development and audition technique. You will learn about the importance of a professional approach to your work. This will include regular public performances in the theatre, where you will showcase your skills in a variety of genres. You will also attend workshops led by current professionals, important for building your performers CV.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This Level 3 qualification will prepare you for auditions for higher education courses at drama school or university. Previous students have gained places at Italia Conti, Performers College, LIPA, Stella Mann, Midland Academy of Dance and Drama, Birmingham School of Acting and Manchester Metropolitan.

• 2 to 3 trips per year approx. £30 per trip
