Performing Arts (Level 2)


Why study this course?

On this course you will develop your practical drama and musical theatre skills in order to develop a broad understanding of the demands of the performing arts industry.

What will I study?

You will work alongside industry professionals to enhance your skills in acting, singing, dance, rehearsal techniques and devised and scripted work. Additionally, you will learn about the importance of a professional approach to your work. This will include regular practical assessments where you will showcase your skills in a variety of genres and attend workshops.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This study programme will prepare you for progression on to either the Acting or Musical Theatre study programme at Tresham College.

• 2 to 3 trips per year approx. £30 per trip

Is there anything else I need to know when considering this course?

Entry is subject to a successful interview and audition. You must prepare a piece to perform for 2-3 minutes at your audition.
