Why study this course?

This is the perfect course if you want to develop your musical talent in either singing or playing an instrument. The course focuses on developing your performing and technical skills. You have the opportunity to work with different combinations of musicians and singers to improve your confidence as a performer.

What will I study?

You will study a varied syllabus including practical and theory sessions to give a full understanding of the music industry. You will need to be proficient on your instrument and be prepared to perform and compose in a variety of genres and styles. You will also learn music technology production.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This study programme will prepare you for progression on to the Music Performance Level 3 study programme at Tresham College.

Are there any additional costs?

• Stationery
• Specialist equipment relating to your chosen practice
• Ear protection
• 2 to 3 trips per year approx. £15 per trip

Entry is subject to a successful interview and audition.
