Beauty Therapy (Level 2)

Why study this course?

This course will provide you with the beauty therapy skills you need to meet the growing and diverse opportunities in the beauty industry. It focuses on the practical application of knowledge and develops the skills required for employment or progression to the next level.

What will I study?

You will develop a variety of skills in the Tresham Studios beauty salon including make-up, facials, waxing, lash and brow treatments, manicure and pedicure, client care, reception and health and safety.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This study programme will prepare you for entry into employment or for further study on our Level 3 Beauty Therapy study programme. If you are interested in working in film or media production as a make-up artist you can also progress from this programme on to our Level 3 Production Arts Media Make-up programme at our Kettering campus.

Entry is subject to a successful interview and tutor reference. Strict salon rules apply in relation to dress code; hair, uniform, shoes, nails, jewellery, piercings and tattoos.
