If you have strong design skills, this course will give you an insight into the wide variety of creative disciplines that go in to making a computer game including computer based workshop sessions, seminars, lectures and individual research tasks.
You will undertake a variety of design briefs that help you to explore many different areas of game art and design. This will include character design, 3D animation, 2D graphics and game theory. In addition, you will work on projects that develop your understanding of character development, storytelling and plot structure, computer hardware and the games industry as a whole.
This Level 3 qualification can help you find employment, or give you the UCAS points needed for university.
You will be well equipped to move on to degree-level programmes, or enter directly into employment within the rapidly expanding games industry.
