Health and Social Care (Level 2)

Why study this course?

This course will introduce you to the world of work within health and social care settings.

What will I study?

You will study a range of core and optional units covering: effective communication; development through the life stages; anatomy and physiology; sociological and psychological perspectives and nutrition. You will be required to undertake two days a week in a practical placement.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This study programme will prepare you for progression on to the Level 3 study programme in Health & Social Care or Childcare & Education (Early Years Educator). Alternatively you could progress on to an apprenticeship programme.
