Suited to people who want a career in creative IT this course will help you towards a career as a computer technician, in programming, games design or website development and maintenance. You will also be building a web based portfolio to showcase all of your coursework to prospective employers.
You will study a range of topics including: the online world; digital portfolio; technology systems; creating digital graphics; computing in the workplace; website development; spreadsheet development; computational thinking; installing and maintaining hardware; multimedia products development; the online world and installing and maintaining software.
You can progress on to an apprenticeship or go on to our Level 3 Computer Science study programme which allow you to specialise in Software Development, Hardware or Interactive Media.
