Creative Media Production: TV, Film and Radio (Level 3)


Why study this course?

You will shoot and edit your own short films, produce radio and audio projects, work on advertising and marketing projects and also develop the team working skills that are so important for a career in this exciting sector.

What will I study?

You will develop your creative abilities in TV, Film and Radio Production, by taking on a range of roles such as camera operator, sound recordist, market researcher, producer, director, editor, designer and presenter. Through challenging practical based briefs, you will develop skills in the use of Adobe Premiere Editing and Adobe Creative Suite software. You will learn how to work in a TV studio and with audio software. There will also be opportunities to produce work for professional clients to enhance your portfolio.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This Level 3 qualification can help you find employment, or give you the UCAS points needed for university. It will prepare you for undergraduate or HND study.

Is there anything else I need to know when considering this course?

Entry is subject to a successful interview. You must bring in a portfolio which shows examples of any media work and a 500 word film review.
