Production Arts Make-up (Level 3)

Why study this course?

This is an exciting study programme for those seeking to specialise in the media make-up and hair industry. The course includes trips and guest speakers, all giving you a real insight into this career.

What will I study?

You will work alongside industry professionals exploring the various aspects of the production arts industry. You will learn how to: create a character design; use sfx make-up; create period hairstyles and work within the different areas of the industry and build a portfolio.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This Level 3 qualification can help you find employment, or give you the UCAS points needed for university. You will be qualified to enter into a career in the media hair and make-up industry or complete further study in this specialised area.

Are there any additional costs?

You will be required to purchase a kit and uniform in order to undertake our Hair & Beauty courses (approx. £400) To purchase your kit visit using code: K191. There will be 2 to 3 educational trips per year approx. £30 per trip.
