This is the ideal course if you are interested in a career in photography. The programme combines darkroom, digital, studio and location photography along with the history of photography. You will learn by working on exciting photography projects and meet visiting professional photographers to gain a valuable insight into your chosen career.
You will develop a range of skills, techniques and personal qualities that are required for a career in photography. Training is given on industry standard design software including the Adobe creative suite. You will work with both digital and film-based photography.
This Level 3 qualification can help you find employment, or give you the UCAS points needed for university.
It will prepare you for undergraduate study, including the HNC and HND Photography course at Tresham College or Bedford College.
• Digital camera with manual controls
• Sketchbooks, pencils, pens, films, photographic paper and hard drives to back up your digital photographs.
• Two trips per year approx. £15 per trip
