This course provides you with the essential training and underpinning knowledge that will prepare you to progress into an apprenticeship as an Electrician. You will be working on live boards that simulate real world practices.
You will develop your practical skills and knowledge of electrical installations. The qualification covers many areas within electro technology, including: principles of electrical science, electrical installation technology and building services engineering.
This Level 3 qualification can help you find employment, or give you the UCAS points needed for university.
You could progress on to the Electrical and Electronical Engineering HNC/HND at Bedford College or go into employment or an apprenticeship programme.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) approx. £30
• Textbooks approx. £20
• Basic tool kit costing approx. £50
• You will also be required to pay approx. £40 to take a CSCS test. This will allow you to complete the mandatory 30 hours work experience required as part of this study programme
