Why study this course?

If you are looking to work in one of the varied trades within the construction industry then our wide range of study programmes will equip you with the skills that you need. Study programmes are delivered by experienced staff in industry standard, well-equipped workshops. Due to the need to acquire essential skills in each discipline, progression to the higher levels is dependent upon successful completion of each lower level. Tresham College has excellent links with industry and has helped students to gain apprenticeships and employment with local companies.

What will I study?

You will develop practical skills and knowledge through a range of units including; plumbing principles; hot and cold water systems; environmental and sustainability and sanitation and central heating systems.

Are there any additional costs?

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) approx. £30
• Textbooks approx. £25
• You will also need to pay approx. £40 to take a CSCS test. This will allow you to complete the mandatory 30 hours work experience required as part of this study programme

Although the government has announced that exams will not be going ahead this summer, we are committed to ensuring that all students who apply to join us this year will be able to do so.
