Site Carpentry (Level 2)


Why study this course?

This course provides the opportunity to develop hands on skills and underpinning knowledge that will prepare you for employment within the site carpentry sector.

What will I study?

You will learn a broad range of carpentry skills and techniques that make you attractive to employers in the construction industry. You will learn about costs and materials management, specialising in on-site procedures.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This study programme will prepare you for progression on to the Site Carpentry Level 3 study programme or an apprenticeship.

Are there any additional costs?

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) approx. £30
• Textbooks approx. £20
• Basic tool kit approx. £50
• You will also be required to pay approx. £40 to take a CSCS test. This will allow you to complete the mandatory 30 hours work experience required as part of this study programme
