Plastering (Level 2)

Why study this course?

This course provides the opportunity to develop hands on vocational training and underpinning knowledge that will prepare you for employment within the building and general construction sectors as a Plasterer.

What will I study?

You will learn a broad range of plastering skills and techniques including decorative finishes. You will cover areas such as cost and materials management and the maintenance and use of specialist tools.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This study programme will prepare you for progression on to the Plastering Level 3 study programme or an apprenticeship.

Are there any additional costs?

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) approx. £30
• Textbooks approx. £20
• Basic tool kit approx. £50
• You will also be required to pay approx. £40 to take a CSCS test. This will allow you to complete the mandatory 30 hours work experience required as part of this study programme
