Bricklaying (Level 2)

Why study this course?

This course provides the opportunity to develop the underpinning knowledge and skills that will prepare you for employment within the building and general construction sectors as a Bricklayer.

What will I study?

You will learn a broad range of bricklaying skills and techniques that will make you attractive to employers in the construction industry. You will develop your practical skills and knowledge through different units, learning how to construct a range of projects as well as cost and materials management.

What will I be able to do after I complete this course?

This study programme will prepare you for progression on to the Bricklaying Level 3 study programme or an apprenticeship.

Are there any additional costs?

• Personal protective equipment for the course (PPE) approx. £30
• Textbooks approx. £20
• You will also be required to pay approx. £40 to take a CSCS test. This will allow you to complete the mandatory 30 hours work experience required as part of this study programme
