Celebrating Access to Higher Education Success
Our Access to Higher Education students enjoyed an evening of celebration at their very own awards ceremony. The dedicated students have showed a commitment to achieve their study goals in order to get on the path to degree level study and a step nearer to their career ambitions.
The celebrations started with the debut of Tresham’s newly formed choir, made up of staff and students, who treated the packed audience to two songs. The teaching team and Head of School for our Access courses, Sarah Nolan, then presented certificates to each of the students and reflected on another successful year. It is expected that 98% of this year’s students will be going on to degree level study in September, a massive achievement for both the students and lecturers.
Access to Higher Education courses are ideal for those aged 18 or above who looking to study at degree level but don’t have the right qualifications or experience. We offer flexible Access study programmes in Health Professions, Humanities, Science and Social Science and also a Pre-Access course that focuses on English, maths and Science.Back to news
