Apprenticeships at Tresham Buck National Trends

The number of young people and adults studying an apprenticeship with Evolve, Tresham’s business training division, has exceeded the national trend with an increase of 55% people studying an apprenticeship in the past 12 months.

Evolve Business Training has raised the number of apprenticeship opportunities in and around Northamptonshire through its Tresham Pledge and has seen a total of 1,100 young people and adults studying an apprenticeship in January 2014 compared to 708 in January 2013.

According to figures published by the government* in December 2013 the number of apprenticeship starts in England fell for the first time in seven years for the period 2012/13, however these are on the rise and last year a record 868,700 (up  41%) people were studying apprenticeships across the UK.

Apprenticeships enable people to gain the skills required for the workplace through on the job training supported by a day at college each week and is available to anyone aged 16 or over.

Evolve Business Training offers apprenticeships in a variety of sectors including Engineering, Catering & Hospitality, Warehousing, Customer Service, Management, Health & Social Care, Education, Business & Administration, Construction, Hairdressing, Motor Vehicle, Social Digital Media, IT, Childcare and Accountancy.
