Each year Tresham awards its Apprentice of the Year award, normally this is a professional tools or vouchers, however this year the donation of £100 will be gratefully received for the charity set up by Andrew and his family to help support other families of terminally ill children following the tragic death of his own son Zach in September 2004.
Julian Hearn, Plumbing Lecturer and Assessor at Tresham said:
“Throughout his apprenticeship, Andrew has continued his work as charity coordinator as well as recently establishing his own business C.A.G.E.S. on successful completion of his plumbing course.
People like Andy are an inspiration to us all in helping others and there has never been a more worthy winner of our apprentice of the year award.”
