Annual Awards Ceremony 2012
On Friday 11th May, Tresham held its annual awards ceremony attended by X Factor finalist from 2009, Jamie Archer. A total of 44 learners were named as Learner of the Year for their area of study and are now progressing into work or further study as a result of completing their course at one of Tresham’s campuses.
The award ceremony was hosted by Robert Emery, Director of External Partnerships and HE at Tresham together with two Learner Representatives; Adam Langley and Charlotte Mallery.
Stuart Wesselby, Principal at Tresham said:
“Attending celebrations such as our annual awards ceremony is always a highlight of the academic year as it provides an opportunity for tutors, families and friends to join together and celebrate a small number of our learners and the achievements they have made whilst studying at Tresham. This year, we have heard stories from some excellent ambassadors for the college and how Tresham has provided that next step into a career or higher education that some had thought was not possible.
All of the 44 winners and their families should be very proud of what they have accomplished at college and I wish them, together with all of the learners completing their course at Tresham this year, all the best for their careers or further study.”
