The School of Construction offers an exciting selection of courses from Entry Level through to Level 3 Btec and includes a full and part-time offer in:
So, whatever your interest or level we can offer a course that can support you and prepare you for a career in the construction industry, support you on our evening courses for a possible career change into the construction industry or simply develop your DIY skills for that home project you wish to undertake.
The teaching teams are welcoming and enthusiastic and the feedback from learners confirms that the quality of teaching and learning within the school is very good and it just keeps getting better. Achievement rates in 2010 were 95% and we are well on the way to match those results and possibly exceed them in 2011.
This school has approximately 230 full-time and 140 part-time learners across the various curriculum areas within the school and we will be looking to increase the number this year to around 300 full-time learners.
The school encourages its learners to develop vocational and academic skills to prepare them effectively for the world of work and to progress to higher qualifications, apprenticeship or work within the industry.
