
Matt Lambert is the joint course leader for the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport. Prior to joining Tresham, Matt attended Leeds Metropolitan University where he studied BSc Sport and Exercise Science and then completed his PGCE with the University of Bedford.
Matt started at Tresham in 2008, soon after completing his university degrees, and has since developed his vocational experience by completing the CYQ Gym Instructor's courses, FA level 1 coaching badges, UK Volleyball Young Persons Referee Instructor and Sport Leaders Instructor qualifications. Throughout his schooling, university and post-university years he also gained valuable experience working with a range of groups in local gyms.
His main interests are of a sporting nature- football, rugby and cricket being his preferred past times. Throughout school Matt was in the football, rugby, cricket, athletics, and basketball teams. He also went on to represent the district and county for football. Additionally, Matt has also played for numerous football teams within Northamptonshire and Leeds, rugby for Wellingborough Rugby Club and cricket for Earls Barton.
