BANK STAFF – Learning Development Assistants (Ref 791)

The College is establishing a Staff Bank of pre-vetted individuals to fulfil temporary work requirements to supplement our full and part time workforce, as there may be times during the academic year when additional staffing resource is required.

 The operating principles of the Staff Bank are, following a full recruitment, selection and pre-employment checking process, to offer successful candidates a Zero Hours contract of employment.  This is a permanent contract of employment but will not guarantee individuals under it any hours of work.  As and when an operational need arises, ‘assignments' of work will then be offered to bank staff.

All bank staff will undergo mandatory training and also attend College and Team meetings/training where required.  Staff employed on a Zero Hours contract will have the security of a permanent contract of employment and the benefits that come with employment status.

We are now recruiting to Learning Development Assistants roles under the Staff Bank.

Enhanced CRB disclosures will be required and applicants must divulge any previous criminal records.
