Prince's Trust Team Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers have a powerful influence on the success of our programmes, and on the young people they help. Ask the volunteers and they'll tell you the experience is just as rewarding for them.

Thanks for your interest in Volunteering for the Prince's Trust Team or XL Programme. If you are aged 18 or over and wish to volunteer with the Prince's Trust Team programme in Northamptonshire please contact us.

There are potential opportunities available to work with young people aged 16 to 25 years old wishing to improve their skills and attitudes for a brighter future. These opportunities are excellent for those wishing to work with young people in the future and for those who may require teaching hours for the completion of educational courses.

The role of volunteer can be either part or full time work. Based at a team room within Northamptonshire you will assist a Team Leader responsible for delivering the 12 week Team programme to young people aged 16 to 25 years old. You may also wish to focus on supporting leaners in improving their basic literacy and numeracy skills. (Entry levels to Level 2).

To volunteer for Tresham's Prince's Trust programmes you need to:

  • be over 18 years old
  • have Level 2 (or similar) literacy and numeracy skills
  • be willing to undertake an Enhanced CRB disclosure
  • take part in an application interview.
