Tresham's Prince's Trust Team.
Each year The Prince's Trust reviews each delivery partner for Team Projects across the country following OfSTED best practice guidelines. This process ensures that each area offers twelve week team programmes is the best it can be for young people aged 16 - 25 to gain the confidence and skills to progress into employment or further study after being out of employment, education or training for some time.
Tresham College of Further and Higher
Education's Prince's Trust team were visited by Linda Norville, the Central
Regional Director, in September who spoke to staff and team members to find out
more about the short courses and the success stories that they have generated.
Tresham's Prince's Trust has been graded as Outstanding for the past three years due to its commitment for each team member in Corby, Daventry, Kettering, Northampton North, Northampton South, Rushden and Wellingborough. In 2011 - 12 100% of its learners who completed the team programme gained Level 1 qualifications.
As summarised in the report, The Prince's Trust commented that:
"2011-12 has been another outstanding
year for Tresham Teams in terms of results and outcomes....Once again 100% of
finishers achieved Level 1.
Staffing across the county is very good with all locations having a dedicated Team Leader plus a shared Development Worker."
Linda Norville said:
"I have been impressed this year with the quality of staff and in particular the comments of the young people relating to those staff."
Caroline Pullen, Head of School for Young People's Engagement at Tresham said:
"I am extremely pleased with this most recent grading of Outstanding. Tresham's Prince's Trust Delivery Team are highly committed, professional and motivated.
