Last week, The National College for Motorsport received a Chevrolet World Touring Car courtesy of World Touring Car team Bamboo Engineering to rebuild for future competitions, equipping them with the skills for the workplace.
The car has been stripped by mechanics at Bamboo Engineering, who have asked the National College for Motorsport students to rebuild it and return it to competition condition.
Richard Coleman, Managing Director Bamboo Engineering donated the car to enable students to get additional experience as part of their course at the specialist motorsport centre.
Jim Harrod, Head of School for National College for Motorsport said:
"Once our students have rebuilt the car they will have gained additional skills ready for the motorsport industry including preparation activities to delivering a car in a suitable state for racing."« Back to latest news
