  • Tresham zooms ahead - 07 Nov 2008
    Students studying the Race Technician course at the National College for Motorsport, led by Tresham Institute, worked in partnership with students from Cranfield University to put their engineering skills to the test by taking part in the annual Walter Hayes Trophy race, securing 7th place at the flagship racing event which took place on the 1st and 2nd of November at the Silverstone National Circuit.

    Students from the National College for Motorsport, led by Tresham Institute, a college of further and higher education, zoomed ahead of their competition at the annual Walter Hayes Trophy race and secured 2nd place at the British Racing Drivers' Club flagship racing event which took place from 2nd November until 4th November 2007 at the Silverstone National Circuit in Northamptonshire.

  • Exciting New Study Centre at Silverstone - 20 Jan 2007
    In an exciting new development, the country's first ever Motorsport based study centre has been launched at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire. The ‘Learning & Discovery' Study Centre, a joint venture between Silverstone Circuits Ltd, the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and Northamptonshire County Council has been operational since September 2006 and was officially opened by Damon Hill in January 2007.
