The National College for Motorsport

The National College for Motorsport, a school within Tresham, offers race technician training to meet the demands of the motorsport sector through practical programmes delivered from our purpose built facility at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire.

The National College for Motorsport was the first college in the UK to achieve the coveted Motorsport Academy Employer Recognition Scheme Charter Mark for its training of race mechanics. The scheme was introduced in 2007 to ensure that motorsport training providers deliver good quality, motorsport industry relevant training.

By studying with the National College for Motorsport, not only will you be based at the home of British motorsport, but you will also get the opportunity to work at tests and races with the college and our motorsport partners.

Thanks in part to our excellent links to the motorsport industry, learners at the National College for Motorsport have tremendous progression opportunities, with high percentages of our learners progressing into Employer Led Apprenticeships.

Our courses have been specifically designed to meet the needs of the motorsport industry, offering Programme Led and Employer Led Apprenticeships/ Advanced Apprenticeships for race technicians.
