At the learndirect centre in Wellingborough you can learn when you want, at your own pace and in a relaxed and informal environment.
The learndirect centres
offer a flexible way of learning to individuals and companies using e-learning.
All courses can be accessed from any broadband connected PC so you can choose to
work with us in centre, at home or at work. Courses are available 24/7 and so
can be broken down to fit around other commitments.
Courses are offered in:
- Literacy
- Numeracy
- IT
- Customer Service
All courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications. For Literacy and Numeracy, courses lead to the National Tests in Adult Literacy/Numeracy (GCSE equivalent qualifications). For IT, courses lead to the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)/ITQ qualification. For Customer Service, courses lead to the Customer Service Level 2 NVQ.
Tutor support is available whether you are learning in centre or at home/work. Support can be provided by our Tutors by email, telephone or face to face.
Funding is available for all courses (subject to eligibility requirements).
We are also able to assist with careers and training advice as we are an approved nextstep centre. We are able to advise re career options, training courses available locally and help to produce CVs, covering letters etc. (This service is funded for adults aged 20 or over).
